Introduction of WIFI Module and Common Problem Handling of Handheld Terminal

Firstly, basic knowledge of WIFI
-- Common WIFI terms
SSID: Each wireless network has its own SSID, which is used to recognition.
MAC: It is WIFI module or mac address of AP equipment, which is unique.
RSSI: It is signal attenuation value, the value is bigger, the signal is worse.
Channel: It is the signal or WIFI transfer channel.

-- Common WIFI protocols and corresponding working frequency
802.11 is a WLAN standard originally developed by IEEE, also known as WIFI protocol. 802.11a，802.11b，802.11g，802.11n，802.11ac are the most common ones. For example, most handheld terminals supplied by SEUIC are supported to 5G network.

-- Can the handheld terminal be connected properly?
-- Is there any needs to set a static IP address?
-- Is there any needs to bind the MAC address?
-- Check the AP encryption and password input is correct or not.
-- Check the AP is in 5G frequency.

How to check whether a live network is normal?
-- Taking the handheld terminal and go through the entire area to see if it could switch to each AP normally.
-- It could do Ping test with handheld terminal, check the loss rate is less than 5% or a large amount of persistent loss, while it is roaming.
-- Putting the handheld terminal in environment without WIFI or other network environment in 10-15minutes, then putting it back to normal WIFI environment, check it could connect with WIFI or not.
